Work History

This is my second year woking in the Northumberland School District. Before this position I worked for the Berlin School District for 10 years as an elementary school counselor. During these 10 years, I implemented classroom guidance, small group and individual counseling. I also co-facilitated the PBIS Committee, wrote/implemented behavioral and crisis plans, and was the 504 plan coordinator.

I also have experience working as a relief staff for North Country Shelter (NFI) in Jefferson, NH and a therapeutic support staff for Family Behavioral Resources in Indiana, PA. As a relief staff, I supervised and supported teenagers between the ages 12 and 17, and participated and supervised process groups, peer relationship groups, alcohol awareness groups, life skills, peer mediation, and one-on-one supportive counseling.

As a theraputic support staff, I worked with children between the ages of 3-12, who had behavioral problems in the school and home. I worked with children with Autism, Reactive Attachment Disorder and ADHD. I utilized various behavior techniques and followed individual treatment plans.

Personal Note

I enjoy traveling, going to the beach and spending time with my family.
