WMCC’s “College is for Me!” Program attending by our 5th graders a few weeks ago. They learned about all sort of different professions to include welding and the medical profession.

One of our student captured doing a science experiment outside last week! Testing physics and elasticity - he found the experiment in a book that he checked out from the library and wanted to give it a shot. Great way to test a theory.

Here are some pictures from a Grade 2 activity completed earlier this week. They began planting some peas and corn. They will be measuring the height in centimeters as they grow, as well as keeping track of it on a graph. When they're done, they will be moving them into the community garden!

WMSI Afterschool program is going great! This is our second session, as we have so many students looking to explore STEM after school. We could not be happier with the level of participation and the quality of explorations our students are doing!
