The Stratford School Board and SAU 58 are pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Brown as the new Principal of Stratford K–8 School, effective July 1.
Ms. Brown brings more than a decade of experience in education, along with extensive leadership, management, and business experience. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, librarian, team leader, student council representative, UIL coordinator, and STEAM club advisor, supporting students across a variety of grade levels and learning environments.
A passionate advocate for student success, Ms. Brown believes in fostering a positive school culture where students and staff can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes relationship-building, collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. She is committed to creating learning environments where every student feels supported, challenged, and valued.
In addition to her educational background, Ms. Brown brings experience in business management, budgeting, strategic planning, and team leadership. Her diverse professional experiences have helped shape a student-centered approach focused on accountability, innovation, and strong partnerships with families and the community.
